At the end of the day, the problem is not the problem until it's YOUR problem.
As a community, we'll never see the changes we wish to see until we COMMIT. Our team is committed, and we've put our money where our mouth is.
It's easy to point fingers. You can sit in the comfort of your home and blame anyone you like.
Or you can get in the game, and make the problem YOURS.
Or as we like to say, #StopComplainingStartCooking
Every problem has a solution.
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to point out the obvious issues that any community may face. But it does take care, consideration and compassion to step in and work to create solutions that begin to chip away at the problems.
We've found that things that cost us nothing are usually WORTH nothing, and so complaining has become the free choice of the lazy. Because of our love for our community, we have chosen to dig deep into our emotional and literal pockets to invest in this city we call OUR home. Let the complainers complain.

Chef Shawn and Chef Gil were best friends before they ever started cooking together. It was that friendship that led to culinary dreams coming true. When dreaming about the future of The Red Beard Foundation, they realized their shared love of global cuisine was more deeply connected.
In that connection, a dream of bridging the gap between communities and the rest of the world was born. We have begun to ask the question "What if our shared experiences across the world can create bridges that can heal cross-culturally?"
